Walk-In Closet, Angeles City  cabinetmaker

U.S. Style Cabinet, Where You Go When You Want it Done Right

Angeles City Walk-In Closet

The pictures below are from our site and was installed in our customer’s house near the Tarlac border.  The walk-in Closet is made up of Slab doors, slab drawer fronts, and plain end panels.  We use concealed soft close undermount slides for the drawers, fine walnut laminated water resistant MDF or marine plywood drawer back and  for drawer bottom.

Notice that the grain or pattern of the laminate drawer fronts flows across the entire set of drawers? That is called grain matching, fairly expensive to do as it wastes a lot of material so that the parts line up. And if you drop and damage one part during manufacturing or installation, you have to re make the entire section! But it is beautiful.
The drawers are covered inside and outside on all visible with the same laminate used on the exterior of the cabinets. The slides are undermount slides, hidden up under the drawer box. They pull out all the way, full extension, and you just shove them closed and the soft close mechanism catches the drawer and slowly and quietly self closes.

Below that far left upper cabinet is a large and wide pants rack that pulls out so you can drape your pants over the rods. The pants hanging down will fill most of the area below the pants rack of course. There is a rod above for hanging shirts and other clothing.
These pull down clothes rods are nice. That pull down rod in the center is used to tip the entire assembly forward and down, lowering the entire rod and the cloths hung on it down to chest level for those vertically challenged folks. These units are under 5,000 including the installation.

Here is a video of this walk in closet posted on Youtube.

Remember our philosophy on cabinets, the cabinet boxes should be made to last for decades but doors, drawer fronts, and end panels are  expected to get beat up, worn, and eventually be replaced.  Building modular cabinets makes replacing the exterior parts easy and economical. MDF doors are a perfect match for European style cabinets for this very reason, sturdy enough to last, inexpensive enough to replace when the cabinets need a new look.

This is a make up vanity, the perfect place for storing cosmetics and jewelry for getting ready to go out.
The picture is blurry but you can see the pull out pants rack under the corner cabinet. There are individual rod hangers to drape your pants over to store them wrinkle free.
A walk in closet is usually pretty crowded but you have plenty of space to store clothing and accessories in a safe place and easy to locate an item. The narrow dark space below the pull down clothes rod is a pull out tray for jewelry complete with felt lined drawers.

This walk in closet cost 112,054 pesos for the cabinets, 2500 pesos for delivery and installation, total of 114,554 pesos.  The accessories were 27,396 pesos including all the drawer pulls. There are two pants racks, one tie/belt rack, the jewelry pullout,  the various fixed clothes rods and the pull down clothes rod.  The total cost installed with accessories was 141,950 pesos.

Walk-In Closet Installed in our Showroom

U.S. Style Cabinet, Where You Go When You Want it Done Right

The pictures to the left is of our showroom walk in closet package.   We use concealed soft close undermount slides for the drawers, light ash colored laminate on water resistant MDF or marine plywood

Notice how the grain flows straight down in line on the drawer fronts?   You can also run the grain horizontally, sometimes you have to if the cabinet back is wider than 48″ or if it is something like an island or peninsula back.  If we were to run the grain horizontal we would use the same sheet for all three sets of drawers so the grain lined up perfectly.  Kind of hard to do keeping track of all the parts, making sure one drawer front doesn’t get flipped over or spun around in the process.

This set is still being installed at this time.  The cabinet on the far left will have another clothes rod installed in the base.  There is room for a pull out jewelry case under the narrow section under the pull down clothes rod, those cost around 9,000 pesos once installed.

A closet package like this doesn’t have to go in a walk in closet. You can add doors and install this on a wall in your bedroom.

Installing the Walk-in Closet

Under the second cabinet from the right side is a pull out pants rack, those run around 6900 to    9000 pesos once you ship them in and install them.  On accessories like this part of the cost is having to build the cabinets around the very precise dimensions of the item.  If you make a mistake, you have to make a new cabinet.  You can provide these items if you wish and we can just charge a fee for fitting the cabinet and making sure everything fits but it is better if you purchase them directly from us as you will get a better quality item for about the same price as the building centers retail price on these accessories.

There is a second pull down clothes rod going in that second cabinet from the right. It will be a chrome plated unit, a bit less expensive as the stainless steel unit.  These pull down clothes rods will start around 3600 pesos for the chrome plated model and the stainless steel units start around 4400 pesos installed.

This walk in closet set would cost 121,254 pesos for the cabinets, 2500 for an Angeles City area delivery and install, total of 123,754 pesos.  The accessories will be 14,529 pesos for two pull down clothes rods, one pull out pants rack, and 12 drawer pulls.  Total price installed in the Angeles City area would be 138,283 pesos.  And on our pricing, we do not mark up prices so we can give “discounts”.  We charge a fair price to everyone.  If someone gives you a “discount” they have already added that amount to the price they need to sell and stay in business.
